Easter time!

Our family tradition is to have Easter at my mom's house. She makes all the kids their Easter bags and we have a huge money egg hunt and eat all day. It's always so much fun because we get to see the girls have a ton of fun with their cousins.
Our little family
The fab four!
And I love my little girls in their spring colors.
Leah is my little cookie monster. She must have had about a dozen just that day alone.
This year was extra special because we were able to have one of my oldest friends in the world come spend the day with our family. We love spending time with them and I'm so grateful we have such great friends.
My brother and his family, and of course our little stowaway!
Leah had so much fun on her own egg hunt. We had her do her own in the front yard so that it would be more fair. She had a blast!
And Hannah is the sweetest little girl. I just love seeing her grow up, although it's way too fast! I always have fun watching her do these. It's so exciting for her to put all the money in her piggy bank when she is all done.
Not only is she a beautiful little girl, but she is so sweet and compassionate! Love her to pieces!

Hannah saying the blessing on the "kids food". We love easter. We loved being able to watch conference and then hang out with friends and family, that's what it's all about. Plus this year was exciting for me, my mom got really sick and I did the whole Easter dinner by myself! I have done it for my little family for five years now, but for as many people that were there, that was my first time. So, nothing was burned, nothing was cold and no one got sick! hahaha I'm very grateful for my family and friends who show me constant support and I'm so excited about our future! Can't wait to post more about that ;)

Happy 5 year Anniversary!

On March 26th Scott and I celebrated our 5th anniversary! We decided a while ago that we were not going to anything considering all that is going on with us right now. We are trying so hard to save money to get our own home again and it's been really challenging! So with all of the stress going on in our lives and trying to find a house we took a trip anyway to help alleviate some of our stress. And it worked, for the first few days at least! Last year we went to Lake Tahoe and had an amazing time and we think this is our anniversary spot! I love it there so much that I am seriously considering moving there and being a snow bum!
On our 8 hour drive I was totally relaxed reading a book and enjoying the scenery. And after that drive when I finally woke my butt up, we walked the beach at the lake, had dinner and sat in a hammock watching the sun set. So amazing to just relax!
The next morning it was snowing so we decided to go sight seeing. We walked around some historic parts of the Tahoe area and had a blast! Walking into shops with small isles, glass and all kinds of fun stuff to look at without the worry of children breaking everything is sight was bliss. However, with every child I saw, I really did miss my kiddos. Anyway, we took a gondola up the Northstar mountain to the Ritz after all our walking around.
We warmed up by the fire and just talked for a long time enjoying each other as much as we could. It was a great opportunity to unwind and remember all those things about one another that we like and grew to love and eventually try to change! hahaha
On our actual anniversary we went snowboarding! This was more his gift to me since he likes it but I LOVE IT! After all the fresh powder it was the best boarding ever and no one was on the mountain! We literally had the thing to ourselves for a few hours.
The views were amazing and we stopped to build a snowman and just take a breather.
And we wanted to keep going but we had to stop for our dinner reservations.

Sorry, this picture was a must do, this was our anniversary so we had to kiss all day long!
We ate at a very fancy fine dining restaurant and had a great view of the lake! The food was so amazing that we asked each other if it would be trashy of us to lick our plates? hahaha Oh well, we did!
They knew we were celebrating our anniversary so the surprised us with dessert and it was delicious!
To end a great day we enjoyed another walk on the beach.
And we ended the night with making smores! I have not done that in so long that I was so excited to be goofy with my man! We then sat by the fire all night and relaxed and snuggled. A great trip overall. THEN.... wait for it..... du du dunnnnnnn!

Scott's truck breaks down in the middle of nowhere! A total Seinfeld episode here. We broke down in a no cell reception area, finally make it to a gas station and the phone there does not dial long distance and the meth head who is the clerk there has some ducktaped phone that does not dial the numbers 3, 6, or 5! So dialing 951 was out of the question! Sucked so bad, but after hours of waiting, his mom rescued us and we made it home to our most greatest accomplishments ever! It was great because I could not wait to see them so of course I go in and wake Hannah up, she is groggy and says goodnight and then looks up and jumps out of bed saying "Mommy! Daddy!" and big hugs all around. Oh, they make life worth living!

Happy Birthday Hannah

On Friday the 19th my little girl turned 4! I can not believe that she is growing up so fast. I know I say that every year, but it's just going so quickly. We spent her big day at Disneyland.
She got some birthday money from her Aunt and she went to the Disney store and picked out her Ariel costume. It was so nice to go to the mall with her by myself to just spend some quality time. She even told me while she grabbed my hand, " Mom I love my sister but it's nice to get you all alone!" She is such a sweetheart. I don't get to do much one on one with her but when I do we have so much fun.
Of course we had to go see the Princesses while we were there. Leah was in heaven because Minnie is her favorite!

It was nice to see Ariel there while Hannah was in her costume and she even sang to her. She sang the part of the song when Ursula steals her voice. Way too cute.
She is telling her cousin Kendra, "Yes! I'm four!!!" hahahaha

So happy that her cousins could come and endure the jam packed park with us. It was crazy insane so we did a few rides and bailed. But it's ok since we are there at least twice a month.
After we left the park we went to the Rainforest Cafe, which is one of her favorite places, and had a great meal there. They all sang to her and made a big deal for her birthday. It was a great day.

These are some things that she has said lately that are just too cute....
She is a real artist and she drew a picture and said, "This is you and daddy and me and this is my heart. You guys are falling in love!" It melted my heart

I was sad that she was going to be another year older so we had a conversation about enjoying her last day as a three year old. I told her I was sad that she was going to be four and she grabs my face with both her hands and says, "But mommy, I'll always hold 3 in my heart forever!" where does she come up with this stuff? I am not sure but I really love it.

When she walks into a room she needs to be introduced. "Introducing, the beautiful Princess Hannah!" Cracks us up every time. And sometimes she changes a hundred times a day and every time she needs her introduction. :)

She is very into dressing herself nowadays and let me tell you, we have some interesting outfits going on here! And I am usually the type of person that won't leave the house without her hair being done and outfits matching and looking perfect! Now, my poor little girl looks like a raggel-muffin!!! But she is learning her independence and I guess that's a good thing, right?

She also salute's me when I ask her to do something and says "Yes maam!" very funny for the on-lookers they think I'm a drill sergeant! I kinda like it. hahahaha

She loves her cupcakes!

I have not decided if she was trying to be dainty and not get dirty or if using her hands took too much time to get to her mouth! Either way, too funny!!!

A Princess party

Hannah is all about anything Princess, so what better theme to have than a Princess party?! Well it was the perfect party for our little girl. I loved all the pink and all the little Princesses, we had at the party. It was great weather because it was the first day of spring and it was gorgeous!!!
This is Hannah's cousin Wendy and they had so much fun together all day. Hannah's really into Ariel right now so that's what she was.
You could not get this little dare devil off of this thing! From the second they dropped it off until they picked it up at night, she was on it! Up and down the slide, going down in all directions possible. She was so brave and cracking us up.
What would a Princess party be without Princess crown cookies? My friend gave me this secret yummy recipe and let me tell ya, amazing! I can not do as good a job as she does, but I was pretty happy with the results. They kinda look like they are flipping me off :)
And the glass slippers!
Leah had to join in on the fun. She loves to do what her big sister is doing and she had to be Snow white.

Hannah's bestie Paige.

Some of our Princesses and their Prince Charming's.

Um, what can I say? The girl loves her cupcakes! I'll have to post the video of her eating them!
Hannah pretty much has all the dolls so they all played with them, here are just a few.
And most of her cousins stayed late and played all day. I love having them over. I love that she can play and have a good time with her family. It was a really great day and we had a lot of fun. Lot's of sweets and treats! But the best part was at the end of the day Hannah comes up to me and tells me how grateful she was for her party and all that I did for her. That made my day! She is a very sweet girl who appreciates everything! She opened her Jasmine doll and it was a scream heard around the world! Just knowing that she is happy makes me happy. I love her so much and I am so amazed at what a sweet girl she is.

Christmas Fun for the Hardy's

Now that I am private I can share all the fun we had in December without crazies peeking in. So this may be late, and there may be just a few pictures but bare with me.

To start out our festivity's we had a pancake breakfast with Santa at my dad's work. We had so much fun and the girls loved it. Hannah won a prize and they had gifts for every child as well as crafts.
Leah making her plate for Santa
Hannah and all her creativity!
The best Santa ever! He was so good to Hannah and even though Leah wanted nothing to do with him, he was so kind to her and he had a special place in his heart for Hannah, he actually emailed my dad to tell him what a great little girl she is. So sweet.
And this is how you can find Leah after showers. Seriously, she walks around in the buff with just her princess shoes on. I really love her, she cracks us up!
Santa at our ward Christmas party
Looking precious in their dresses
We made a gingerbread house and we had so much fun. Although, Scott thought that we were entering it into an art show or something so I had to remind him that this was for the girls. Hannah did a great job, but we did help a little ;)
Christmas eve we had fun with Family at my mom's house. Hannah and her cousins, Leah was M.I.A. for most of the pictures, she was busy with candy.
She is obsessed with Minnie Mouse
And this is our Christmas morning. Hannah is really into arts and crafts and colors better than most teenagers I know so we want to encourage her mad skills. So she is busy every day doing all kinds of fun things on her easel and she paints ceramics most days too.
We kept it small this year since my parents spoil them! We got Leah this cozy coupe and she loves it so much.
And here is the Tinker Bell baby that our little Princess asked for. She was so excited. I love that she keeps it simple. She asks for easy things and she is so grateful for everything she gets. She is so polite and sweet.
And finally the Hardy family get together. Some are missing but here are a few cousins and of course it was a hit! Now that this is all behind us we are so grateful for wonderful holiday season we had and are very excited about the great way our New Year has started!

Going Private!

Hello friends and the random people who read my blog that I have no idea who you are. I have decided after a recent event that we NEED to go private. So leave me your email address if you care enough to read the exciting events of our lives! I will erase your address as soon as I get them so they will be safe. Or if you have my personal email address then you can just email me there. If you no longer wish to read the crap I do in my life, then feel free to not respond and take a long walk off a short pier. Just kidding! It will probably happen in a week or so to keep the crazies out, so respond now or forever be interested in the Hardy's! hahaha
