Oh Hannah

My sweetest Hannah... I am feeling a little sentimental tonight. Thinking of simpler days with my little baby girl. Always the lover, so polite and so so happy. I miss those days when few words were spoken and no whining ever occurred.

You have grown so much and so fast. With the growth has come a large vocabulary and your personality is one of a kind. I lovingly call you a "foghorn" since that is the sound that best describes your cries in the wee hours of the morning. And lately you have not said a word to me without taking it up a few octaves. The whining makes me want to go deaf!

But through all of the drama and theatrics, I still love you more than words can describe. You are a great big helper, so eager to learn, a wonderful singer, a terrific big sister, a comedian and the most loving little girl I have ever met. I look forward to bed time so I can love on you in silence, hold you tight and kiss your little face. Thank you for challenging me my sweet sweet Hannah.

Surprise!

The best surprise I have received in a long time! My dear friend Annie.

I got a great surprise this week from a very good friend. Since she moved
back to Utah I have not seen her since August when the girls and I made
a trip out to see her. I had no idea she was here so when I got a text
to meet her for dinner, I was shocked! So we met up for a few hours
and it was way too short of time, but I was so happy to see her! She is pregnant
and I loved being able to hug her belly, even though she is not even showing. She was
just such an important part of my last pregnancy and loved my baby bump, so now I got to show my love to her. She was the first person to meet Leah. She showed up to the hospital within seconds of Leah coming out and that meant the world to me!
Good friends are just so hard to come by and I know that she will be my friend forever.
The girls missed each other so much. They played like they never were away from each other.
Hannah and Elle are three days apart and such great friends. I love this
little girl like she was my own! And love to see how well they play together.
Elle missed Hannah so much that she was playing with her hair, too cute!

Nine months old already???

That's right, it's that time again. Nine months old and growing. My little baby got her first two teeth this month! I was so excited,  I am just so happy that my angel has hit another milestone in her young life of many, many firsts.
She is still the best baby I have ever known. Smiling all the time and laughing when she sees her daddy or big sister. Hannah and Leah are always together and even though they are total girls and screech loudly when they are playing, I love it that they have each other! I can deal with the high pitched tones forever if it means they are playing well with one another.
She practically runs when she is crawling. I can't believe how fast she is, and she always puts stuff in her mouth while crawling, my little multi-tasker!
She has been pulling herself up for a couple months now and is walking along things. She even lets go of what she is holding on to and balances pretty well. It's so funny when she wants me she stands at the gate and yells "Mamma" until I come get her, way too cute! Clapping is her favorite thing to do, she is pretty proud of herself when she does something and wants your attention she just sits there claps and laughs.
I am just so lucky to have this perfect little girl! She sleeps so good, eats like a champ and loves her mamma. What more could I ask for?

Valentine's day party

Hannah and her friend Breadyn

.
Yesterday we had a Valentine's day party with some of the kids in our ward. Hannah had so much fun with all the kids there.
I love our ward very much, we have so many little one's and so many great women to be around. I think I enjoyed myself as much as Hannah did just seeing all the happy faces and watching them play together so well. They are all such well behaved kids and we are lucky to know all of them! Thank you Tonya for doing this, we loved it.

My little Valentine

What a great day

We decided to go snowboarding, something we have not done since B.C. (before children). I am either pregnant, nursing, or living in a desert and since the rain blessed us with such great snow we jumped at the opportunity to go. We had so much fun. This was my second time this week but first time with Scott. We really enjoyed ourselves. It was so much fun to go do something together like this and it was such a beautiful day!
W both have been a little stressed out and this really took the edge off, at least for a while! hahahaha

This was such a great view we had off one of the lifts, we spent a while there just looking out at how beautiful our day started off. I am going to try and go as much as I can this season since next year I'll most likely be pregnant again!

Party time!

This month we have got to see family a few times, and it's been really nice. We had two birthday party's in one day and made both of them! That was really fun to see both sides of the family in one day. Hannah plays so well with other kids and I love to see her in action just to see what she comes up with. She is very imaginative and funny. So my niece's came over for the day and to watch them all play warmed my heart. I wish they lived closer so we could get together more often!
