Hannah's new bed

Hannah is really sneaky now. We are having some "sleep issues" with her. She does not like to sleep in her bed anymore since the baby is in our room now. While I'm nursing down stairs, she lays on the step just out of my sight and falls asleep. It's pretty funny since there is nothing I can do about it till I'm done. She try's to be so quiet and sneaky but I hear her! She looks so peacful though.

Scott doesn't get much time to be a carefree young man anymore. He is always so busy working hard for his family or playing with Hannah and Leah. He is such a great father and husband. Here he is after an Angel game with his buddies. The reason he looks so good is because he is eating much healthier now and working out when ever he has a chance. We are so lucky to have this wonderful man in our lives!

To all my friends

Life is funny. You come across so many people everyday and sometimes your lucky enough to be blessed to meet a great person. I have been really blessed. I have known some people who will be there for me through it all. I love meeting those people who make you want to better yourself. The kind of people who amaze you every time you talk to them. Even if it's something as simple as looking at one of my friends as a great mom, and I asking them for advise. Or something to make you want to be a better saint. I have had many great opportunities lately to talk to some of my friends and they helped me want to better myself. They don't even know it, but they are examples to me in so many ways. I picked up something today from a great man who is no longer with us and he made me want to change things about myself because he was such an amazing person and it was effortless for him. He set goals for himself everyday and wrote them down so he would not forget, and did them. It's things simple like that. I have a friend who I talk to regularly and she always makes me want to improve. She is always so happy and carefree. She smiles all the time and is sickeningly talented! I love being around her because of the way she makes me want to be better.

Someone I have known my whole life, literally, is the best example to me of our Savior. She has had so many things happen in her life that were out of her control. Things that would make me curl up and get so deep into a funk that I may never come out of it. But she takes what she is dished and gets even stronger in the gospel. I heard her bare her testimony today after a tragic event took place in her life and it touched me. She makes me want to have a better knowledge of the gospel so that I can have the never ending faith that she has of the plan of salvation.

Another friend of mine just had her fourth baby in february and she makes motherhood look like a walk in the park. I know it's not and she admits it, but I have been lucky enough to talk to her about some things troubling me and she was there for me. And the advise that she gave me hit home. She prayed to be a better mother, the mother that the Lord would want her to be for her children. She prayed, had faith and it worked. She helped me grow closer to my father in heaven because of some simple advise that she may not know even meant that much to me. And because of that I have done better with my kids this week.
There is always room for improvement and we should never stop trying to be better. To all those people in my life who are great examples to me, thank you. Thank you for loving me and offering your friendship to me unconditionally. Thank you for helping me want to be better.

Best Friends

Well there comes a time in every girls life that her best friend moves away, I know it happened to me too! I just didn't think that it would happen so soon for our little girl. Hannah's best friend Elle moved away, back home, and we are pretty sad about it. They still talk on the computer but it's not the same as it was having someone you love so much just right down the street. We miss you Thomas Family, come back!!!

Our little Leah

Leah is one month old now! She is growing so fast. She lifts her head up so good and turns it from side to side when laying on her tummy. She is a very happy baby when mommy is holding her or when she is not in the car. And she thinks her sister is so funny. She smiles at her all the time. She is staring to coo more too. I love to hear her make those noises.

Sweetest Hannah

Hannah is going through her terrible two's and for those of you who know what I'm talking about can sympathize with me! She is doing really well with learning new things. She is potty trained now and doing great with that. She loves being a big sister a little too much. She always wants to pick Leah up when no one is looking and hold her. Hannah thinks that she can breast feed her baby dolls too, it's pretty funny!
